14 years ago I met this beautiful young lady. She was barely just in kindergarten and I was a dorky high schooler helping with a VBS out on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. I fell in love with all the kids there and over the years I’ve made many trips back out to help with the VBS and to visit my “students”. Earlier this year Nikki’s mom got in touch with me about doing Nikki’s senior portraits, and a couple of weeks ago they drove out to LA and I got to photograph Nikki at the beach in her beautiful traditional Navajo dress!
Congrats on your graduation, Nikki! I’m so proud of you and I’m excited for what’s to come!
