Over the weekend Jeremy and I drove up to San Francisco for a short getaway to celebrate our 5 year anniversary! Can you believe we’ve been married for 5 years?! It feels like just yesterday that we tied the knot. The last 5 years together have been wonderful and full of fun memories and I’m excited for what the future has in store!
We brought our bikes up to SF with us and basically biked everywhere – down Embarcadero, through Golden Gate Park, up The Wiggle, across the Golden Gate Bridge, and through Crissy Field! It was really fun to be able to see the city on our bikes. I’ve heard SF is a really bike-friendly city but I was still surprised at how nice & patient drivers were and how easy it was to get around via the many bike lanes & sharrows. Thanks for a wonderful weekend, SF!

Finally got to check out the California Academy of Sciences!
On Sunday we stopped by Sunday Streets, an open streets event in SF similar to LA’s CicLAvia. It was cool to see so many people out in the streets rollerskating, biking, making music, and just enjoying a day out.
And lastly a fun photo booth picture courtesy of Photojojo. =)
